I have an American-Belgian family background. I grew up in Beirut ,Teheran , Mississippi ,Switzerland and france before settling in Norway as a young adult. I have lived in Oslo for more than 40 years, where I have a foothold in several cultures, which I experience as a strength in terms of looking at society.

The first time I got something published in Norway was the series "The Rats" in the magazine Natt & Dag in the 90's. I then went on to drawn the story boards for 21 Scandinavian feature films which also brought me to be responsible for the visual concepts of  the opening and closing ceremonies  of the Lillehammer Olympic games in 1994, a work that resulted in 1,400 illustrations and paintings. The same year I published "Haakon Haakonsen" at Semic Forlag, a cartoon based on Nils Gaup’s feature film.

Working with storyboards for feature films meant that I began to explore film as a medium and became a Film Director, with a Musical feature film in Poland, a TV serie base on Alan Parker’s film “Fame”, and a few shorts. While perusing my film career since 1998 , I never stopped drawing and painting. I have had several exhibitions through the years. In addition, I have for a long time commented on social issues through a personal cartoon séries called "THE BLA BLA SERIES ". Cartoon is a formidable artform. With my comics I can immediately make visible how I experience the world and how I feel it affects us. My Girafes universe have been since 2021, exposed every year at the university of Aix Marseilles , in regards to the week of Anti Racism.
